Well, hello there. It’s been a while since we last spoke, hasn’t it? Pretty sure the last time we talked you were sweating bullets in the shade, praying your lawn wouldn’t spontaneously combust, and lathering on SPF 50 just to get to the car, each morning. Remember? You had that great barbeque where we cooked brats on the drieway. It seems like such a long time ago...was Reagan president? Well, who knows...we don’t really play politics...but we DO play killer tunes that will grab you by the cranium, and have you searching for your melted face, on the floor, at the end of the night. Not to worry, though, we’ve hired a cleanup crew for that.
Things are different now. The sun is starting to go to bed earlier, there’s a front of cold air blowing into north Texas, and even a chance of this phenomenon they call “rainâ€. Finally!...We’ve been dancing all summer! So, it’s time to get out of the house, celebrate, and do your part to bring that watery goodness to Big D.
We expect to see your rain dance down at the Barley House this Saturday night. Get all your Garmin’s out, and type in 5612 SMU Blvd. because we’re going to be looking for you in Dallas, this weekend.And don’t worry about what you’re missing in Austin. Do you really want to sit in traffic for 12 hours, there and back, to hear Kanye sing 15 suspiciously-similar variations of “Gold Digger� Doubtful...you want 4 hours of serious frunk in Dallas, so you can go back and eat Fishstix, in your own bed, after some intense partying with the G-Feed gang.They are the fried chicken of the sea, afterall.
So we’ll see you on Saturday, bring some friends, and grab a G-shirt if you don’t have one. Also, keep up with us about the next couple shows; we’ve got a huge Arkansas v. A&M pre-party with Kapital Productions on the 30th, and a great new venue to rock out, in October...The Cellar, out in Las Colinas; awesome place, it should be a killer show, and we hope to see you all out there, too!
