February 4, 2010You know, throughout these winter months, we occasionally have a week or two when we just don't have a show to play, as was the case last week. That's when some of our close friends decide it's time to have a party and ask us to take care of the music. Thank goodness it was Megans birthday which was more than enough reason to get together. Kevin and Megans new home was christened with kegs of Newcastle ale, great friends, awesome eats and live music. Hopefully they'll have us back for the second annual birthday bash !This Friday, the 5th of February, we'll be at Muddy Watters in Dallas. They are located at 4314 Live Oak, about 1.5 miles east of Central Expressway. There is just no telling what can happen during an evening at Muddy Watters, and we've had some very memorable nights there. We play from 9:30 - 1:30 and there's no cover, so you can spend all your money on cocktails. Come out and party with us.One last bit of business. On Friday the 26th of February, we will be playing at The House of Blues in Dallas. Unfortunately they won't let us put every one of you on the guest list, which is exactly what we'd do. We do however, need all of you to come out to see us, so they will have to have us back. The tickets are $12 on the day of the show, however, you can buy advance sale tickets in 4 packs for only $7.50 a ticket. It's time for you to bring some of your friends out on a double date that haven't seen us yet. This is a nice room, and you know we'll be blowing the roof off that night.
